 Mission Statement

We, the women of God, members of The Church of the Holy Spirit, a Christian community united in the Roman Catholic faith, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, seek to deepen our relationship with God and one another. Our prayerful hope is to serve the needs of others, to grow in our knowledge and understanding of the Lord, and to celebrate community through support and worship. We set this Mission Statement with the confidence that the Holy Spirit will guide each of us as members of this society to minister with our gifts and talents and to serve our brothers and sisters through generous involvement in our daily lives.

Altar Society meets on the third Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm typically in Spirit Hall. We are a very active ministry, and we'd love to have you join us. 21st Annual Spirit Bazaar

The 21st Annual Spirit Bazaar will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 9 am - 3 pm.  For more information and details please visit www.facebook.com/spiritbazaar.

The Spirit Bazaar is an annual arts & crafts fair sponsored by the Church of the Holy Spirit Altar Society in Goddard, Kansas. It is held the 2nd Saturday in November from 9 am-3 pm at Holy Spirit Catholic School in the gym and Good Shepherd Hall. The Church of the Holy Spirit is located at 18218 W. Highway 54, (183rd & Kellogg) in Goddard, Kansas. This is a great place to start your holiday shopping. We have over 60 vendors, a bake sale, raffles, and door prizes. Breakfast and lunch are available throughout the day. Santa will be available for pictures with the children from 11 am-1 pm, so bring your camera! Children 12 and under are free. Admission is $3.
