American Red Cross has many opportunities for people to get involved with a local social program. These volunteer opportunities include:
- Drivers to take elderly citizens to Good Neighbor Nutrition sites
- Medical Drivers to drive disabled and elderly persons to medical appointments
- Blood Route Drivers to deliver blood to Wichita hospitals
- Bloodmobile Helpers for such things as canteen aides, donor aides, registrars, etc.
- Other positions for volunteers are phone callers, disaster volunteers, first aid stand-by team, CPR instructors and First Aid instruction.
